27 is my favorite number, so I have decided that it is fortuitous that I
have returned to the States on this day. It is rapidly approaching
9 am France time, and I haven't gone to sleep, so all that I am leaving
for myself this evening is a call to Matthew and the necessity of making the
bed. Tomorrow I will start fleshing out my adventures...
[In school I learned one is not supposed to begin a sentence with a
number, unless you write it out, but this could not be avoided, for I love
the appearance of the digits. Other favorites: "L" is my favorite
cursive letter (and "x" is my favorite lowercase, thought "z" is a close
second. "Lamed" is my favorite Hebrew letter (it is the "L").
My favorite thing to say in French is "Je m'appelle Rachelle"
because it rhymes!]
