I just got finished watching Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru (1952), which was quite spectacular, and the first film I had seen by the director.   I love watching old movies, and what have to see what classics are available on DVD, because I'd like to try watching some flicks on my machine.

I was just trying to catch up on my mailing list e-mails (we are talking more than 1,500) that got piled up during my road trip.   Someone sent a link for the iBrator, which made me laugh.

I personally think the new G4 is stunning, but I am perfectly happy with my machines.   This is especially true since I watched Snake Eyes on my laptop today, thanks to my swanky DVD drive.   This could get seriously addictive...

Free movie rentals has been one of my fantasies for years, and I am loving living it.   I came home from the store today with the aforementioned Snake Eyes, Dark Victory for another Bette Davis adventure, and Character, since I insisted that one of the clerks (Neil, who has one of those sexy foreign accents that we Americans drool over) recommend a movie for me.   my only stipulation was that it was something I hadn't seen, which ruled out half the selection...
