I never thought of my diary as a place to write about dreams, mostly because I was usually on the computer in the middle of the day. On 9 April 1999 I went through all of my old entries and pulled out the following references to dreams. The idea was to see if there was a pattern to my dream madness. Now I hope to get more of my dreams into my diary. I dream mostly in black and white, often silent, and always in third person (meaning I watch myself do things).
Dreams I have recorded in my diary:
- 01 June 03 - I saw David, who was an up and coming porn star
- 26 May 03 - my first dream about a smell
- 25 May 03 - Matthew's car was stolen
- 02 June 02 - I was in a car accident and all the bones in my face shattered; then I was working on a special project for my boss
- 01 June 02 - I was at work and everything was perfectly normal
- 20 May 02 - a nightmare that I was attacked in an elevator on the way to the Academy Awards
- 19 May 02 - a nightmare that I was hemorrhaging to death
- 09 May 02 - a recent dream about a pizza place where the employees served naked
- 09 December 01 - I gave birth to and breast fed a very small baby.
- 07 December 01 - I watched a violent film which became real.
- 06 November 01 - I was being chased around and that someone was trying to use my fingerprints to catch me.
- 31 October 01 - I took an unpleasant yoga class.
- 21 October 01 - Someone was trying to attack me in a locked house, then I was riding a tall bicycle, then I had adventures in the supermarket.
- 19 October 01 - I was transporting 3 of someone's 7 foetus babies in cloves of garlic and they died
- 01 September 01 - My mother had an awful time at a Chinese cooking class with me.
- 29 August 01 - I was being attacked in a warehouse because my mother accidentally got a cashier fired.
- 21 August 01 - I was being attacked and my attacker vowed to hunt me down and kill me.
- 14 August 01 - I was a man having an affair.
- 30 July 01 - Matthew was fired from his job.
- 27 July 01 - The manager of our apartment was trying to feed me.
- 13 July 01 - I ran into a friend from college, Rita, who was travelling the world.
- 18 June 01 - I was being harassed by an ex-boyfreind who killed all my plants
- 11 June 01 - I made a dangerous drive and then tried to stop pollution
- 09 June 01 - I rescue a starving and neglected baby
- 20 April 01 - making veggie burgers with my beau
- 07 March 01 - a strange trip to Kenya
- 16 November 00 - a school dream in which one of my instructors was Judge Judy
- 10 October 00 - a nightmare that Aurora had died
- 27 September 00 - I bought Desirée 16 cakes for her birthday and William Shatner helped me decorate them; then my brother drove a pink convertible station wagon with wood paneling onto a ship
- 06 September 00 - I dreamt about sex for the third time in my life
- 17 August 00 - I witnessed an illegal raid on an orthodox Jewish temple, tried to get Matthew into a fight, and then broke into a CEO's private office
- 02 August 00 - a nightmare that parts of my arm had died
- 19 July 00 - I was performing some very precise operation but I can't remember anything else...
- 27 May 00 - I was running into people from my elementary school and Matthew rescued my sock from drowning
- 24 May 00 - I was in a new school and then searching for Matthew's sister's apartment with him and his mom
- 10 March 00 - Matthew and I were walking and people tried to kill us
- 17 February 00 - with my mum at her school and then home alone at my dad's house and people are angry with me
- 07 January 00 - I found a wicked stash of jadeite for my mother
- 03 January 00 - several dreams from the last month -- several about murder
- 08 December 99 - one dream about a fellow online diarist and one about an ex asking for forgiveness
- 05 December 99 - I dream of a man other than my beau and I dream of a new section for this diary

- 29 October 99 - I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and breast fed him
- 07 August 99 - my brother wins money in Vegas, and more

- 05 August 99 - a vauge recollection in which there are two couples of gay brothers who are lovers
- 25 July 99 - a nightmare in which I tried to escape from my abusive husband while rescuing a pig which had lost its will to live

- 10 June 99 - a nightmare in which Matthew and I were being chased; I made myself wake up when I began to drown
